How rigorous is the admission at UIUC?

Is it hard to get into UIUC? I am specifically looking at the college of liberal arts and sciences, for I am looking to major in integrative biology. I do not expect it to be as hard as, say, Engineering or Computer Science, but I would like to know what to expect as I have heard before that overall UIUC is a harder school to get into. I am an underrepresented minority (White/Black) AND an Illinois resident. 27 ACT (I plan on taking it until I get a 30, I am a junior so I have a few more goes left). Ive had a job for a year now (2 when I apply), A lot of volunteer work, 2 school clubs, and a 3.3 GPA WITH 5 AP/Honors (signed on for 3 more next year, so 8). What do you guys think? As I currently stand as a junior, am I in good standing? Also, I tried to post this in UIUC thread, but it seems somewhat dead… any responses would be much appreciated.

Look up the Common Data Set, section C. C7 shows what is used for admission, C1 shows admission numbers, C9 shows scores, etc.
