How screwed am I really?

Ok, so I just got back my SAT score this week and it was a 2090... But what I want to know is if I have a chance at all (I'm in the lower 25%) for Yale class of 2015, if I have a 4.0 GPA (unweighted), I have the EC's, 750+ SAT 2 scores, and MOST IMPORTANTLY I have an immigration story that basically no one can say they've experienced (I know it's kind of vague, but it's basically a story that will catch the eyes of the admissions officers).
I'm also quad-lingual (a little rusty on the french), and I got 5's on AP Chem, language and composition, and U.S Hist.

Any response will be appreciated.

Also, I'm caucasian but from 2 completely different cultures.

Not screwed at all, tbh. Your GPA makes up for your SAT Reasoning score. Everything else seems spot-on to me.

wouldn’t worry about it.

You certainly have a chance, but no one can really say anything else. You’ll just have to wait and see.

Thanks guys, all I really wanted to know was if I actually had a chance AT ALL, due to my low SAT score.

“But if you never try you’ll never know
Just what you’re worth”

These are only lyrics to a song, but they ring true in many aspects of life. College applications are one of them. Apply and see! Good luck. Everyone has small chance of getting in.

No, it won’t mess it up. Just do well on all the other parts of your yale app.

Yeah, there’s really no point in worrying about it now.

I have the same SAT score.
My GPA is lower.
I have great ECs.
My essays are pretty unique.
And I’m hispanic, not caucasian.
So basically, on paper… you and I are pretty much the same person? Like, they could potentially have to decide between the two of us. Or just reject both of us ;)

^I guess we are kind of the same on paper, but based on previous admissions decisions, you are actually at an advantage being of hispanic heritage. But then again, I have a little ace up my sleeve with my immigration story so it kinda equals out… :D, there’s really no use speculating, because in the end, Yale will make the final decision and we just have to deal with it, but good luck and I hope to meet you in New Haven :).
