How screwed am I?

Supply Chain Management major with three semesters left, so one more summer.

Cumulative is a 2.98, and should be above 3.0 at the conclusion of the semester.

Here was my situation. I worked an internship from December to Mid April and more or less got laid off. It was sudden, and I was expecting to work through the summer, but that didn’t happen. Scrambling in late April, I applied to some of the few summer internships I saw left. Interviewed with one, got rejected.

I have no internship lined up, and I am feeling like screwing myself here. I do have one summer left, but I feel like I should be interning.

From the previous one, I got a good reference out of it atlest.

Unexpected things happen and while it may not be ideal, I certainly don’t think it is the end of the world. The very good news is that you have done an internship already where you got (hopefully) some good work experience and a positive recommendation. If you can’t find a last minute internship then just get a job to earn some cash and apply for full time jobs during the year and maybe see if you can do some volunteer work in your field. If you have a professor in your major who you know well maybe ask him/her for any last minute ideas.
