How screwed am I?

So here's what happened. I submitted my brown early decision commonapp on October 26th, and submitted all my paperworks and recommendations too.

All good, right? Turns out, I didn't. I thought once I payed the $70 for Brown, I was done with my application. Nope; after about 18 days of hesitating, waiting for my confirmation email from Brown (that they received my application), I just found out today that you actually need to submit your application (clear up errors and signature).

I feel like a complete idiot. I know, it was foolish of me. Now that we got that out of the way, should I submit my application now (even though it's 14 days late)? Or ask the admissions to disregard everything, and just apply again early decision.

I feel as though there's no good options. If I do submit it now, it'll seem very irresponsible by the lateness. And if I apply regular, they know of my irresponsible act.

Guys, please help me. I'm going to call the brown admission's office tomorrow, but I want to ask, what do you guys think would be the best course of action?

even if u call them they wont say aw poor guy lets put him back in the ed pool. just submit the thing in now and hope for the best in rd.

Well, it’s a month before Brown release it’s ED results, so I was hoping maybe I’d be allowed in.

Anybody else with comments or suggestions?

all colleges are very strict about their deadline rules. it is very rare/unlikely for them to be lenient

If you are only planning on applying ED and you don’t send your missing documents then you for sure won’t get in. If you do send your stuff then you might have a chance. If you are also planning on applying Regular admission then you shouldn’t risk ticking them off.
