would it lower my chances of getting in if I applied to the political communication major (my dream) than just the poli sci major. I want to be a political communication major but if I have a better chance of getting in with just poli sci and changing my major should I do that? Also my highschool extra curricular a don't really specify to that of political communication but that's because I didn't know I loved it until my junior year. What do you think?

Your application is not reviewed based on what major you apply to. In fact, you will not be expected to declare your major anytime until after your sophomore year at the university. Your odds of being admitted remain the same, regardless of what program you apply to.

The only difference is between what colleges you apply to. Although, overall, I would say that the odds of you being admitted into the university are the same regardless of what college you apply to. In fact, the university is attempting to implement a new policy that simply admits students into the university instead of a specific college. I think this goes to show you the mindset they have for what college you apply (they don’t).

Wow, that is so helpful and sounds like a great idea! Thank you so much!
