On my app to UNC Chapel Hill I put that I will attend school from 2005 to 2009, but then I recorded my graduation year as 2005. How did I miss this? Gah! I called admissions and the lady told me that they would just look at the date on my transcript for the official grad date, but still I am worried that it could affect the review of my overall application. Plus I found a small typo in my short essay to UNC as well! Help! Will this affect my admission chance???

You'll be fine, all of your supporting information will show your actual graduation date. Many people make typos, it's not a big deal unless it's chronic.

i did have a small typo in my essay, but hopefully that wont matter too much. do you think it will make them think i was sloppy and didn't care?

bump...........

you'll be fine. stop worrying about it and enjoy your senior year while it lasts

i think they can figure out your grad date! Typo not so good but if it is a typo vs. a grammar error, it should be OK. (like typing mitsake vs. misteak)

it was
"the best thing about mr. kalb though was the fact that he was respected his students"
i forgot to delete the second was. will this look like a grammar mistake if the rest of my essay is well written and then i just have this off sentence?

Don't worry about it! =] they'll know you made a mistake if all of your other data matches up!
