How short is too short for the long essay?

<p>My long essay is ~525 words, or 3200 characters. Some people seem to have been worried about their essays being a few hundred characters short of 4900. Is the length of mine something I should be concerned about? (sorry, I'm somewhat paranoid about the whole process since a bunch of my friends were deferred EA at other schools)</p>

<p>Mine is around that length. I'm not worried, if I added any more it would only take away from my essay.</p>
