How should a sophomore prepare for the ACT?

I want to get a really good score. I'm hoping for 31 at the least, but shooting for 33+.

I will be a sophomore next year, what should I pay attention to the most? How should I prepare early so that I'm not cramming a lot of knowledge into my brain at once? (we all know how that is, haha.)

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Study the English and Math sections of princeton review to get the knowledge, and then take several practice tests (especially for reading and science) to get comfortable with testing conditions as time is normally the biggest factor when taking the ACT.

If you are going to be a sophomore, I don’t think you should be worrying about the test yet. Just build up your vocabulary and reading skills by doing a lot of book-reading this summer. Personally, I don’t think you should start preparing until the summer before your Junior year, and then take the test sometime in November.

Thanks guys! Our school requires us take it our Junior year, that’s why I wanted to prepare earlier. The thought of the ACT makes me shiver! haha.
Thanks for the advice! :)
