Hey

In Ukraine it is not widely accepted practice to be a counselor. So we do not have a knowledge here. My counselor asked me to find out how she should upload transcript-
should it be notarized papers in pdf or just excel file?

I think you should email admissions for each of the colleges where you are applying and ask them this question. I suspect a .pdf in an email from your counselor might be sufficient, but some of them may prefer to have it physically mailed from the school. They really just want to make sure it is genuine, I think. I think admissions offices are used to this question. Tell them you are an international student and that your school is not sure of the best way to provide your transcript.

Thanks, but my question was different. i asked about sending transcript through common application.

Should she upload excel file where my transcripts will be OR upload notarized form in native language and translated forms.

Also, are you applying via Common App with a school report or to schools with their own individual applications?

via common application :)

please anyone?

Should she just fill excel file from original transcript or it should be with school authorities signatures and notarized translations?

please tell me :((((((((

people say that it should be one excel file without signatures, etc but i doubt :(

Can you call a school and ask? I would personally go for the pdf because you’re more assured of format, but at a lot of schools, my counselor has told me that as long as it comes from the counselor, the schools are pretty lenient in their definition of ‘official transcript’.
