How should I address the University of Chicago in my supplement?

I was told not to put Chicago, how should I address the school? I think saying The University of Chicago every time will get redundant. So is U of C good or UChicago?

Considering there website domain name, I think they like UChicago. I prefer it myself. Sounds much better than U of C…which could be any old state school…
However, I am positive that you could put any of the three and it would not make a difference, whatsoever.

In my “Why UChicago?”, I referenced the university in all 3 of those ways, and got in early action. I don’t really think it matters at all what you use, as long as you make it clear that you know it is named the University of Chicago.

I used:

University of Chicago
at Chicago
the University

As mxxmstudent said, I don’t think they would notice something insignificant like that. As long as they know you are talking UChicago, you’re good to go.

thanks all

I used Chicago and I got in EA. I do not think they care as long as you don’t use Northwestern.

^^^AHAHA that’d be a huge fail!
