how should i address this issue ?

<p>during my sophomore year of h/s i had heart problem that caused me to miss a good deal of school (not hospitalized) for testing and doctors visited and ruined my grades for the year b/c i couldnt cope wit the constant absences and the homework with a hard schedule </p>

<p>fresh gpa - 4 (no b's)
soph- 3.5 (or lower not sure )
jun - 3.95 (general area)</p>

<p>how should i explain this to colleges ?? would they care ???</p>

<p>Yeah they would care and you still did well considering the situation. Include a short note in your application, but most importantly have your counselor speak to every school you apply to.</p>
