How should I apply to CSULB?

I will be applying to CSULB this upcoming fall and I'm just trying to get everything straight and organized so I know what all I need to do and know beforehand. I'm a post-secondary student in Ohio; GPA- 3.5, ACT-24. By the time I graduate Spring 2013, I'll have over one full year of college finished. However, the classes I'm taking at the college count as high school AND college credit. So should I apply as a normal, fresh out of high school student or should I apply as a transfer student.

I'm thinking that if I apply as a normal student, they'll count the classes like AP and just take those out of my requirements. I know my credentials meet the level of requirements to get accepted so that isn't a problem.

As an OOS student, your chances are not great because CSUs give priority to CA students in their respective service areas. I say just apply as an upcoming HS graduate. If that doesn’t work, you could always apply later on as a transfer student.
