How should I apply? (Transfer)

Hey guys, so I’m having trouble deciding on what will get me into 4 year universities from a year of community college.

A lot of universities require you to have completed 24+ semester credits to be eligible for transfer, or if you haven’t completed 24 yet, you can submit your high school transcripts + test scores.

I’m stuck in a predicament because I can’t decide whether or not to apply now and send my high school transcripts with bad grades (GPA 2.3), and a strong personal statement explaining why, or if I should wait 'til the end of the semester to apply, since I’ll have 33 credits by the end of Spring 2016 (only at 13 right now). The only problem with waiting is of course rolling admission so the longer I wait, the less chance I’ll have of getting in.

Some colleges I’m applying to are:
LMU
UW-Madison
California Lutheran University
Guilford College
Santa Clara University
University of Rhode Island
University of the Pacific

You need to contact each place and ask about their policies. Is the 24+ credits as of the day you file your application, or is it as of the end of your current term of studies?

Ask how long into the summer vacation they expect to continue to accept and process applications. Some places will accept transfer applications right up until the next semester begins.

Wait another year. A 2.3 HS GPA will not help you
