<p>I've always done 3 sports, and with those sports was a low gpa, a 2.8 in fact. This year I decided that I was going to drop hockey because I wanted to take a bunch of honors classes this year, and wanted to focus on school. Well I ended up pulling off a 3.8GPA first quarter, with 4AP classes. I talked to Indiana and they said I can send in grade updates. Should I explain the situation telling them that I dropped hockey because I wanted to focus on school, and that perhaps I was doing to much orginally and that is the reason for my low GPA. Or should I just send in the grades?</p>

<p>I'd send the scores, and talk to your GC about how to explain. It seems to me that youre a strong student you just had no time for school because of all your sports. I think you should write that in the, is there anything else you want to tell us section, or have your guidance counselor explain in his/her reco</p>
