How should I go about self studying AP Physics B?

I've never self studied for an AP exam before and I don't really know how to go about doing it. I've talked to other students, to teachers, and even my counselor, but I haven't found anyone that can provide a sufficient answer to any of my questions.

I've decided to put together a schedule from now until May in which I'll reserve some time each day for studying.

I want to self study for Physics B, but I can't decide which books will be most effective in walking me through the course and the AP exam. Can anyone recommend any techniques for studying or for taking the exam? And the books/guides that worked for you? I'm willing to buy more than one book if I need to. I'm determined to take the exam this May, so it's important that I begin studying soon.

Also, I guess I should mention that I've never taken an AP exam before. Should I be nervous?! Does my goal sound within reach?

It is a very attainable goal. Does your school have a Physics teacher? I would talk to them first and get suggestions. Many kids have self-studied when their schools did not make a course available to them.

Watch the Khan Academy Physics videos.

When all is said and done, whether you take the AP test or not, what you learn belongs to YOU.
