So I'm applying for the University of Indiana and here's the essay prompt: "Describe your academic and career plans and any special interests (for example, scientific research) that you are eager to pursue as an undergraduate at Indiana University. Also, share any unusual circumstances, challenges, or obstacles you have encountered in pursuit of your education and how you overcame them. (200-400 words)"

Most of the application essays I've seen have asked for something specific, but this one seems to be asking a lot of different thing that wouldn't exactly flow together.

What I'm wondering is: should I just write about one thing here, such as the career plans or challenges? Or should I answer all of the questions they have, despite it leading to a less story-like essay that doesn't necessarily flow?

Thanks!
