For example posters and cork board? Is just regular tape for the posters fine? And I have no idea how to hang my corkboard without putting screws into the wall

You could get those 3m strips/hooks. They work really well.

Can I get those at the bookstore? Or where near campus?

I don’t know if you can get them at the Bookstore (probably, but I graduated a couple years ago, so I’m not sure). You can find them at a Bed, Bath and Beyond, Target, Lowe’s, Michael’s…lots of places. Bed, Bath and Beyond is the probably the closest to Grounds (about a mile or so up Rt. 29 - the bus lines go up to this area. You’ll also find a bunch of other shops and grocery stores up here).

They are at the bookstore.
They are also probably at BB&B but definitely at Michael’s and those are right next to eachother at Barracks shopping center, like previously said this is on UVA bus routes.
I tend to buy them at Target though if your parents are around, OR just get them before you come… They’re not very space consuming…
For the corkboard you might want to use nails though. I do have one of those large presentation boards hanging with 3 extra large command strips, but corkboard is heavier than that so I dunno… Just make sure you get the nails that look like screws so that they will go into and stay in the wall.
The benefit to this is that you only have to buy half as many if you get the velcro ones, since the velcro will already be on your posters you just have to put it on the wall next year. Trust me this is great. ;)

FYI
- sign up for 20% coupons from BB&B. You can sign up your address or your email. Sooooo nice
- white playdough does WONDERS at the end of the year to fill in those nail holes :)

haha shoe at #2

You could also use foam mounting tape.

[Walmart.com: Scotch Foam Mounting Double-Sided Tape, 1/2 Wide x 75 Long: Home Office](http://www.walmart.com/ip/Scotch-Foam-Mounting-Double-Sided-Tape-1-2-Wide-x-75-Long/14922581)

I used foam mounting tape to put up my dry erase board first year and it was fine. you can also use it to put up posters without frames. You only need a teeny piece at each corner to keep it up; it also makes taking them down easier at the end of the year.

You can get the tape at the bookstore as well.
