I got a 24 with no studying but I know how to tutor. I told her to get the Cracking the ACT Priceton Review and the Red ACT Book. And I know that the key is to practice test but what should I focus on. I plan making her get a 25 at least. I know I should get her to take a lot of practice test. But how should I structure it for her if I see her 3 times a week lol.

Tell her to take a section before each time you meet. Then go over questions that she got wrong afterwards and use that to teach.

I want to tell her to review math and english 1 day for 2 hours and reading and science the next for 2 hours everyday an hour each section because she has it on the 10 of April and I want her to do really well if she is worrying about it now as a sophomore. Plus I want to know how much she knows. Should I teach her about the curve and how some days it might be harder than others. How should I tutor her the first day? Tell her what’s on the test and what to review right?

Also what books did you get so I can tell her to check them out. I told her to get the ones listed above.

@ OP, unless you do these things yourself, don’t recomend it. I don’t understand how you can tutor someone and be hypocritical. Again, if you do these things (like studying 2 hours a day…) and they have given you results, then by all means recomend them, but if you haven’t… you get the point. Also, this girl better be getting a lower score than you for you to tutor her. I’m just sayin’

I know my stuff, I’m giving her the same regiment my sister did. I didn’t prep at all when I took it because I wanted to get into a state school in my state. She wants to go to a good school and I just want to help her out. My individuals scores weren’t bad. I got a 26 in eng 28 in math 20 in reading and 22 in science. If I prepped im sure I would have at least got a 28+. I can help her with math except geometry because I suck but I can help her review the grammer rules and the time restraints and the stuff on the test and be familiar with it. I just want her to do good.

^ Sounds good for me lol

What do you mean clarify lol? Did you get a change of heart lol? Plus I’m doing it for free and I’m not requiring community service or anything. Making me want to reconsider lol.
