How should I list music extracurriculars?

I'm really involved in band, so I have a lot of music-related extracurriculars. Several are ensembles that are only open to certain grade levels, so it almost seems like my participation has been irregular over my four years...

Pep band (4 years)
Pit orchestra (4 years)
Wind ensemble (2 years)
Woodwind quintet (1 year)
All-conference (2 years)
Chamber wind (1 year)
Lab band (1 year)

I'm not sure how I should group these. I don't want to use so many spots since I have a lot of other activities, but I also want to be able to specify what year I did each and when I was in a leadership position...anyone have any advice? I'm guessing this is a common problem!

I was in band in high school that now that I think of it incorporated different programs, some of which required auditions (marching band, symphonic band, wind ensemble, music ambassadors), and I think I just put it all under marching band. In my head, to be honest, I just grouped it all under band so I didn’t even bother differentiating it, and I probably just put somewhere that I was a section leader.

I would just separate out the things that were most important to you (perhaps, the ones that were most prestigious, if you got an award, if you held a leadership position). Only you will really know which are the ones that are important enough to differentiate. I would probably determine how many you combine based on how many spaces you have left after putting other extracurriculars in.

I actually listed my music ECs by instrument and the amount of time I put into each one.
