How should I prep for SAT in the remaining few weeks?

Hello,

I am rising Junior in Highschool. This summer has been kind of a mess for me. I haven’t really improved too much on the SAT since I started. I am scoring in the 1730s-1770s range. Does anyone know what I can do to improve this to at least a 2100 by October?

My scores:

Math= Usually score 670-710
Writing= Usually score 570-650
Critical Reading= Usually score 490-550

Any help is appreciated. I will be taking the October test and I need to improve A TON on vocabulary. Does anyone know how I can push my Math and Writing scores up to 800s while making the CR go to like 600+?

Just out of curiosity, are you not taking the new SAT?

I am in the same situation, except I am a rising senior. I want to take subject tests in November, so really I only have the October test. I’ve taken it once in June, received a score of 1650. Practicing over the summer, I’m in the high 1700 range.

wait, is there enough time to take the subject tests in November and get your scores on time to sent to the colleges?

Yes, November is fine. I think you can even do it in December!

@SATurdays I am taking the old SAT. The subject tests aren’t that big of a concern to me as of now.

@SATurdays If I don’t score high on the october and january tests, then I will go to the new SAT
