How should I prepare for Honors Chemistry/ Sat ii Chem?

I'm going into sophomore year and I'm taking honors chemistry, which allows us to take the Sat ii in chemistry at the end. Currently, I have a once a week tutor who is slightly insane and isn't actually teaching me the correct material. My parents are forcing me to -_-
Anyways, I'm wondering if a particular sat ii prep book is better than others.
Thanks :)

barrons is the best book, but if possible, you should wait until you’ve taken at least part of AP chem if you want to do well.

Barron’s books have always worked well for me (get the SAT II book, and maybe AP chem book, as it may help with some honors chem concepts). Consider getting a new tutor, if possible. It may also be helpful to have an additional year of chemistry (AP or local college course, etc.) under your belt to do really well on the SAT II. Of course you could always take it twice, and students at your school may excel on the test after first year chemistry.

Honors Chem is a joke. Ask the AP teacher for an AP review packet or get an AP Chem study guide.

Tell your parents that your tutor needs help and that you should get another one. At least get your money’s worth.

@happydolphin‌ and @teenbodybuilder‌ My school doesn’t offer AP chemistry anymore because our school is too small.
@Yakisoba‌ Apparently, my tutor had taught biology at my school nearly 7 years ago so he’s apparently certified :(

I think I’m going to stick to a barrons book because I have to take the regents at the end as well.

Get Barrons SAT 2 Chem and Crash Course AP Chem. Do that and you should be good.
