how should I prepare for next test??

I took ACT first time last week..
In preparation for that test, I used The Real ACT, Kaplan, and Princeton..
so basically I used all of them except Mc grew Hills, and Sparknotes..
but the problem is I don't think my score improved much comprare to
the "beginning" (meaning when I did no prep, and just took one of the
practice tests.)
Did I do something wrong when I was studying for it?
I completely finished the 3 books, and my score didn't improve much..
Now I have to prep for the one in June..
what should I do differently?
and should I get the Mc Grew Hills and Sparknotes? (since I don't have any
practice test?)

How do you know that your score didn’t improve? you don’t have the scores yet!

Make sure to check out after doing the tests WHY you got it wrong, that is the most important part of doing the problem, so you can see what you’re weak at and work on those, if your score didn’t improve any because of you didn’t check your answers, then I think you should buy new books just to find out what you’re weak at and work on those.

Practice timing, that’s essential on the ACT.
