How should I prepare for the october/december ACT?

I am a senior, and I have been focusing on SAT all this time (but barely studying for it). Many have insisted that I may do much better in the ACT. How would I go about studying for it? Any links? I score around 1800 in the SAT, is it realistic to perhaps get a 30 by december?

Absolutely. You can increase your score a lot by doing practice.

1) Make sure you have a solid understanding of math up to precal
2) Memorize all rules involving commas
3) Take lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and did I say lots? of practice tests.
4) Figure out strategies that work best for you
5) Take the October test (alot of schools don’t take tests past this test) and pray for a 30.

Your SAT score doesn’t always correlate directly with your ACT score; I know a few people who have SAT’s between 1700 and 1900 who have ACT scores of 30-33. So yes, you definitely could, especially if you’re more oriented towards the ACT than SAT.

What quick review prep do you recommend? I am in calc BC but I can’t seem to get through 680 on the math SAT due to all the little tricks they pull. Would simply going through sparknote help? I really don’t want to buy another book.

Step 1: get these two books: [The ACT for Bad Test Takers: Moshe Ohayon: 9780988760905: Amazon.com: Books](http://www.amazon.com/dp/0988760908/ref=as_li_tf_til?%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20tag=wwwbadtesttak-20&camp=14573&creative=327641&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=0988760908&%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20adid=1WE54113WYWEKMFDS1XP&&ref-refURL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.badtesttakers.com%2Fwpbtt%2F%3Fpage_id%3D748)

Step 2: Read the little one and then do all the practice tests.
Step 3: Profit.

I actually dont need help on math and science section as i discovered today, 35 on both, however, my reading is terrible, any books on that? I have the real act…

Edit: Nevermind, you already answered my question on the other thread.
