My school reports a weighted GPA based on what I guess is a 4.5 scale.. an A in an AP/honors class is a 5.0, an A in a standard class is a 4.5, and an A in an "essentials" class is a 4.0. I have a 4.84 GPA, but I'm not sure how to indicate that on a 4.5 scale since that's not an option..

It’s impossible that you have a 4.84 cumulative gpa unless you took all AP classes all four years of high school. My school does the same thing, I was told to put the scale as 4 and say it’s weighted.

Our weighted GPA includes all our classes that are considered academics… We have three levels of academics: essentials, standard, and AP/honors. Clearly it’s not impossible to have a 4.84 seeing as that’s what I have.
