I don't know what the **** happened, but I did really bad on my Oct. SAT compared to my May SAT.

May
CR - 660
M - 760
W - 740

Oct
CR - 700
M - 680
W - 710

The only benefit from the October test is a higher CR score, which raises my overall superscore to a 2200. However, I did not even consider the idea that I made more than three careless mistakes on the math section, but less get that low on Writing.

Should I even report this score? I'm afraid it will give a negative impression of me since my Math and Writing dropped so much. FML.

I’m aware of superscore. However, I’m under the assumption that you have to submit each test you want to be used in the superscore as a whole. That is, colleges would still be able to see the lower section scores despite not being complied into the superscore (under my assumption anyway).

Even if they aren’t compiled into the superscore, would colleges be turned off by the lower scores in math and writing on my second sitting, or would the scores be completed scrapped (i.e. colleges wouldn’t care what score they were)?

I’ll go ahead and rephrase my question to see if I can elicit more responses.

Out of these universities…

Princeton University

Northwestern University

Rice University

Vanderbilt University

Washington University in St. Louis

Will any of them frown on subsequent lower composite and/or section scores if at least one section in these subsequent sittings contributes to a better superscore? The opening post provides specific numbers relevant to this question, in my case anyway.
