I plan to take the ACT on September 13. I start school August 25. I want to study for the ACT so I can get the best possible score I can achieve (got a 25 overall on the April exam). I own the Real ACT Prep Guide and the Barrons ACT workbooks. My library also offers some practice tests for people with library cards. With these materials, how should I schedule my studying? 1 test once a week? More often? I am aiming for a 30, but I would be okay with a 28. How did you guys study and how often? Thanks!

One a week did it for me. That came out to 5-6 total, and increased my score 4 points from my original diagnostic score (pre-preparation, not knowing the format, just going in blind) - went from a 32 to a 36 composite.

Thank you!
