How should I study for AP Euro to get a 5?

Hi! I'm taking AP Euro this year, and I have a horrible teacher who doesn't really teach anything and just shows us movies.. So I was thinking about reading the whole textbook while taking notes on it. I tried doing a chapter and it took me FOREVER. I sort of think it's a waste of time because it's not like I'm completely unaware of everything..

Should I just read and study my review books (PR, 5 steps) ? Please advise me based on your experience and the depth of the test! I really want a 5 on this test.

Sorry that you don’t have a good teacher, but don’t bother reading the whole textbook and writing notes on it.

My son took AP Euro last year and got a 5 on the AP test, but he had a good teacher. He also studied very hard for it.

He used AP Achiever European History throughout the year, especially for tests. He also used Crash Course the few days before the test.

During the year he listened to Hank’s History Hour, a wonderful set of videos done by a then high school senior who is now a student at Dartmouth. Easy to google.

You can find some book outlines here:
[European History Outlines | Course-Notes.Org](Outlines | CourseNotes)

Make sure you know how to do a DBQ, as that will be on the test.

Good luck, you still have plenty of time.
