How should I study for the SAT?

I feel like I haven't been maximizing my study sessions. I've got 2 prep books + Official SAT guide, but those two books only take up about an hour or so tops. One of them is the "Maximum SAT" book, which has a syllabus + lessons/homework planned out for the reader, but that really only takes an hour and a half tops, and the other is Mike Barrett's Black Book, and that is less of a preparatory book and more of a reference book for strategies and whatnot. I take a class on Saturdays and on the weekdays I self-study.

My question is, how do I maximize my study sessions? How long/how many hours should I study for? What should I do in that time?

You might want to read my article “the correct way to prepare for SAT math.” It’s posted on this site - just do a search.

Thanks.

Any more suggestions?
