I'm planning to transfer from my current 4 year college and apply this fall 2014 to the school I intend to transfer for Spring 2015 semester.

However, I haven't told my counselor about it. I feel she might take away my academic scholarship because I will not be a student in the future. What is the best way I can approach my counselor about transferring?

Idk if they can do that but its a bit too early to worry about this now wait until at leadt the summer, make sure you meet the entry requirements of said school(s) and have the prereqs for your choice of major also maintain a high gpa as transfers students often compete with freshman for admissions and the incoming freshman class almost always have a leg up on us transfer and potential transfer students. But, try not to miss tje application deadline.

I understand. However, I’m planning to take courses at community college to gain more credits. I’ll be sending out both transcripts from my college and cc. My concern is that I’ve been told I need permission from my current college to take cc courses.
