How significant is NHS?

Do colleges really not care about it? What if you're president?

…There is a “Search” feature you should try. This question has been asked at least 20-25 times already. And in short: NHS is life.

NHS has as much significance as a dead bird. Ours spent most of their budget last year buying themselves T-shirts.

^ Psshh…Why get T-Shirts when you can get a Dunkin Donuts party?

Because you can eat T-shirts.

Not at all. I was rejected from NHS and got into Harvard.

Yup.

unless you make a big difference, obtain an officer position, then nah. But joining nhs enables you to meet more people and engage in school/outside activities. I’ve been in nhs for 2years, and it was really fun.

nope. I got rejected by NHS and got into MIT early action.

Yup.

Nowadays, NHS means nothing. It’s best that you find things out of school that interest you and get involved with those things. Also, stay consistent with whatever you do; it shows that your dedication.

Improvement > Consistency

I’m running for NHS President next year at a Junior at brand new high school without any Seniors.

Yup.

laughably insignificant yo

It is as insignificant as your question.
