how similar is the world history ap test to the sat2?

is it generally harder/easier?

anyone else out there taking it?

thanks (:

I think the SAT II is easier. The questions are more based on context than on conceptual, so you are just regurgitating facts on the SAT II. On the AP, however, you have to be able to compare different time periods and interactions, etc. There’s also no essay making it much easier.

Agreed plus the curve is insanely easy - like -12 (don’t have it off hand) for an 800

The curve is easy but don’t forget that there’s 95 questions on the SAT II compared to 70 on the AP test. According to a conversion table you can miss 30 and still get a 700 lol.

haha okay! (:
thanks guys

i took a look at the sat2 review book for kaplans though, and the questions seem to be ridiculously detailed compared to those on the ap?

^ Yeah, that’s how I felt too after looking at the PR review book.

AP was more about comparing general trends, which is easier for me. I don’t really memorize specific facts or details, so I’m considering not taking the SAT world history.
