How slow is slow?

OK, I applied to several schools right before January 1 deadline. School transcripts, teachers' letters, test scores were all sent about a week before Christmas. And I did pre-registrations in many schoold, so they probably had files for me. Now I try to check completenes of my applications and find that they all are incomplete. My school transcripts are missing everywhere where I could check. Is it a problem? Shuld I start writing them and resending transcripts?
What about you guys? Are your apps sent in late December complete already?

It's most likely a backup of preparing your files, not that the items haven't been rec'd. When your file is about to be read, it'll be checked for completeness. If anything is missing, they'll either contact you or the HS for the requisite item. Many offices scan everything. You can see how it might take some time.

Don't worry OK?

Most schools take time off for at least 2 weeks during the December holidays. In addition, at most colleges, most of the applications come in right at the time of their deadline. Consequently, it can take several weeks for the applications to be logged in by the colleges' regular staff. I suggest becoming concerned if your apps aren't listed as complete by a month after they were due.

I actually have the same problem. I sent a lot of my stuff around the 20-25 of December and some of it still hasn't arrived. It is weird though because one school didn't get my transcript, which I think I sent Dec. 18th, but they got a teacher recc that was sent the following week. I think I'm going to wait a week, and if they still haven't gotten my missing stuff, I'll send it again.

So I'll wait till next weekend I guess. Good luck everyone!
