How smart?

I am starting scholarships and financial aid and what not. I was wondering... although companies such as Coca Cola state that 3.0 g.p.a's are required to apply, do people with 3.0 g.p.a's really get the scholarship/aid? I'm not saying that I have 3.0, I actually have a 4.38 G.P.A. However, what type of preson would you expect to be aided?

it would depend on the value of other items, the same as in admissions...a high GPA can be devalued by few extracurriculars, but if someone needed to compensate for perhaps a lower GPA, leadership positions and stellar essays would help. there's tons of different criteria and so no one factor (unless a major outlier) will discredit/guarantee you...but I'd say that with a 4.38 (congrats!) you're on the right track lol. :p
