How strict is Emory University compared to Ivy League schools?

I applied to ten schools, with 4 of them being Ivy League (Yale, harvard (lol), Princeton, Columbia)

I'd be ecstatic to get into any of them, including Emory.

But after reading some stories here, it seems I was overconfident in applying to these Ivy Leagues. My SAT scores aren't as high, and I don't have as many extracurriculars. However, I do have many more credits in school than the typical student (24 is needed to graduate, I have 30 and I'm in my senior year).

I now think that I may be better suited to Emory instead.

So how strict are they?

If almost all of my grades are As, and I got 1980 on the SAT how does that look?

For Emory, you’re gonna probably want to raise your SAT score up to around 2100 ( that is just about their 50th percentile). Your current SAT score isn’t bad and if you have a gpa of around 3.8-4.0, good ECs/essays/recs, then you still have a decent shot of getting in.

If you are set on Emory and nervous about your chances you should take a look at Emory’s Oxford College. If you go this route you attend the Oxford College campus for two years and then the main Emory campus for your last two years.
