How strong is the biology program?

I’m also considering UCI, UCSB, and USC. Important factors are their variety of science courses (non-premed), research opportunities/ internships, study abroad programs, and amount of people who get into prestigious biology grad programs after they graduate. Thanks.

i am also very curious about this- the strength of bu’s bio program that isn’t necassarily related to pre-med.
anyone?

Depends from the schools you listed UCI and UCSB would have the most research opportunities cause they’re public schools (which traditionally have more research-funding). I know UCSB has a really good marine biology program but I’m not sure how good they are for other types.

this is an old thread- I assume the person above me is already in college.
I was wondering about the strength of BUs bio program and how reutabld it is?

They’re ranked 8th for Biomedical Engineering by US News & World Report (2010).

I feel like no one is answering my question! what about BIO.
