<p>Of course there’s going to be a large Catholic population (70-odd percent if I remember correctly) since it’s a Catholic school, but how prominent is the Catholic atmosphere of the school? For example, I’ve heard that the Catholic mentality at Notre Dame is much stronger than at Georgetown, despite both being Catholic. I myself am Catholic, and while the religious affiliation of a school isn’t a huge factor for me, it would be nice to go to a university where I have a similar religious background to other students (I’m from a public school in the Deep South, so that’s usually not the case).</p>
