And ladies what height range do you prefer?
[/quote]

5'10"ish-6'4"

I'm slightly shorter than 5'4"

oh well, cant do nothin bout that

I'm 5'6'' ; ;
I blame it on my parents sub-par height.
But with my sneakers I come to 5'7''/8'' so I don't look that short all the time =)

I am 5'5" (female).

I consider myself on the taller side, as there is a large percentage of Asians at the university which I will be attending in the fall (I live in the same neighborhood). I wish I was an inch or two shorter, though, but I had no say in the matter, so I blame my parents. :)

I'm a girl, 5'7".

I think of myself as kind of tall, except one of my girl friends is about 5'11". When she wears heels, I feel tiny.

And I feel like I need a guy to be at least 5'9", though I'd prefer 5'10" and up. A lot of us taller girls just want someone to make us feel small for once. At least that's how I see it.

Why, oh why, did I just read every post in this entire thread? I'll try to give some words of wisdom to you shorter guys.

I, too, am a short guy with short-man syndrome. 5'7" male. I decided long ago that instead of letting it bother me (like it seems a lot of you are) I was going to use being short to motivate me to be the best at everything I did. Ended up being a pretty damn good athlete at my high school (which was a VERY good football school; ranked #1 in the Northeast when I was there) and am now playing DI sports despite being one of the smallest athletes in the NCAA.

As for the dating scene, if you're good looking, you're good looking, I don't think height plays that much of a factor. The last girl I hooked up with was 5'9" (and a high jumper :)) but I've also been with shorter girls and was dating a girl that was 5'8" for a little more than a year, so go figure.

Great attitude Ecliptica! Almost any disadvantage can be turned into advantage if you analyze it well.

With shoes, I'm like 6'1", and, to me, that's the only height that matters. And I'm male.

***, some1 puts a post about height, which is, mind you, totally INSIGINIFICANT to college and gets 15+ pages of posts, while other people write thoughtful, meaningful threads about what really matters and can barely get 1 or 2 posts...damn

woah i didn't know those "*" were put in automatically

dont hate on my height thread

6' exactly :)
Actually, I think I'm average. Most of the kids in my class are 5'10"-6'1" and a couple kids under 5'7". I don't think I'm that tall, to be honest. (Although my mom is 5'1", my dad is 5'6", my mom's side, other than my grandpa:( is pretty short, so I knda am the tall one in the family)

What Mozilla?! You are taller than both your parents?!?!?! But I thought females wanted a taller mate to ensure their offspring would be tall! I'm calling shenanigans!

Hey, this is the internet :p
I'm serious, though. I don't know why it sounds wierd to you. I see it all the time :/ A friend of mine is 6'5". His dad is 5"10, and his mom is 5'11". (she is tall for a woman, though)

i can't really tell which parent i take after. My mom is 5'3-5'4 and my dad is 6'3. I somehow ended up right in the middle at 5'10.

6'3" biatch

Very true. I'm not that tall (5'6), but people at my school are really short... so I tend to feel enormous a lot of the time, and hate it. Then I go to Sweden to visit family in the summer and get to feel small and delicate because people are much taller there. :p

I'll make you feel small ;) :p
I don't really get why everyone makes such a fuss on sizes. Unless you're 4'6" or 7'5", why does it matter an inch here and there?

5'7"...right where those stupid height calculator said I would stop when I checked two years ago whilst praying it would come out to around 5'10 :(

Oh, well...I am the tallest in my house bc my 6'5 father doesn't live with us :D
