hahaha....leg press and squats are the big two were those kids are like "my legs are strong...Ill rack 390."

I have to agree with you though, it is fun to watch. And when you're sharing a machine...lets say pulldowns, and you pull 200, the kid tries to do the same...realizes he cant, has to get back up and reset the bar. Of course I was once like that...a loooong time ago. I was referring more specifically to people who know what they're doing...they lift whats good for them, but since they're so skinny, every muscle pops out...no one in my gym even notices that I bench a whole 180lbs more than him.

I saw this awesome bit of hilarity today. There were two guys, about 5'11'' and 6'0''. They looked like track or lax players. One gets two 65 lb dumbbells and manages it to drag it to a bench. Then he lies down. His buddy picks up the bells (with quite a bit of effort) and hands it to him. Then the buddy spots (read: pulls his arms up) the other guy for 1 rep of a dumbbell press. I hear groaning, and turn around to have a good look. On the way down, he loses his grip and the weights just go bang. I thought that would be the end of it, but noo...

Ten minutes later, I am concentrating on military presses. Apparently they were at it again, and I hear a really loud bang again. Not only did that scare the **** out of me, but it earned a morons a dirty look from most people.

what are you implying about lacrosse players huh? haha I saw weights land on a guys toe once. Still got an hour to go till gym time...gotta eat the protein bar now, ugh...things are nastyy

Yea...there's a BIG difference in terms of physique between track runners and lacrosse players. Lacrosse and hockey players are usually pretty comparable, but Track? oh hellllzz no.

my hs team was a bunch of skinny fast kids. Now the college wants me to be big so I dont get knocked down by every crease defender I come in contact with. My stature provides other teams with a bit of a matchup issue...the reason college wanted me in my opinion.

Yeah...I guess you all hate me. The only reason I went to the gym was b/c it was a requirement for gym. In our school, one marking period of gym is dedicated to fitness. We have a full fledge fitness center.

I don't get my workout through working out. I get it through playing sports. I play a lot of basketball. It helps strengthen the back of your thighs - that is if you're playing good defense. I have a tough time finding a position to play. I can jump pretty high for my height. As a result, I'm a good rebounder & good shot blocker, but I can't be a PF or C. Why? I can't post up on people have my size b/c I'm not strong enough. I usually end up playing the 3 b/c I'm not much of a ball handler and pure shooter. I need to start bulking up w/o losing my vertical and quickness.

I thought you were an amazon lablondie? I guess not. I like this roll your eyes smiley alot. :) Were going to get married if it is a girl smiley. :D
