^It doesn't matter, as long as everything is in proportion. Have you heard of the "golden ratio," it's really fascinating. Not that I'm saying you have to have the golden ratio, since it's really rare, but it just gives insight to the natural preference of the human mind.

5'7.75"...I lie and say 5'8".

5'10.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999"...I lie and say 5'11"

^^ Are you actually that tall? There's a girl I know who's that height and she hates it. She tells everyone she's shorter although she's obviously not.

Why would a girl hate to be 5'11"...that's short for a model. My friend (female) is 6'2" and she loves it ;).

I don't know why she hates it--probably b/c she's the tallest girl in the school (it's a small school) and she feels left out/alone. she also has low self-esteem and thinks she's overweight (although she obviously is not).

5'10.5"

Average.

I would prefer girls below 5'10" :D Maybe because I am 5'10" ;)

I'm somewhere between 5'1.5" and 5'2" (depends on the day), so I usually just say 5'2".

D is 6'. We knew from aged 2 that she would be tall (Dad is 6'7"), so we've always talked about it with her, she's always been much taller than other girls around her, but rarely self-conscious about it. Buying shoes and pants suck. BF is 6'3", and wears boots or shoes that make him even taller. They are a formidable duo.

I'm female and 5'6, so just above average. The fact that my dad is 6'5 doesn't seem to have made a difference (my mom is 5'5).

My parents and sister are all 5'8", so I'm the oddball of the family.

my mother, myself, and my two younger sisters are all almost the exact same height (within half an inch).

i'm 9 feet

5'6"ish, f

What girl on this thread is taller than me? I am a bit under five foot eleven inches all in my bare feet and such.

Someone has to be taller than me, right? Please. I can't be the only Amazon on this thread, man.

(^_^)

~' 0" /lal;ksdf;adf/

Mildred--if it makes you feel better, there are quite a few girls in my school that are around 5' 11". Two of them (they're seniors) are actually really pretty, both model part-time and are going to attend NYU's Tisch School of Arts.

I'm an inch taller than my father. My brother is 5'5'' and is turing 13 next week. My mother is 5'6". I heard somewhere than an accurate way to predict height for boys is to add 6 inches to the mother's height. For girls, you subtract 6 inches from the father's height. This method was pretty accurate for me.

^According to that method, I should be 5'11... I'm actually 5'6, and my little sister is 5'7. :D
