<p>Na, I'm not doing research. I just remeber seeing that thing about height somewhere, so I just thought I'd post it. For the most part in my family, it is fairly accurate. However, I do have one cousin w/a 5'7" father and 5'3" mother who is 6'6". No one knows where the height came from.</p>
<p>its simple , its genetic. both of his parents must have been hybrid dwarfs(compared to him)(no offense meant, its a scientific term!) and thus he had a 25% chance of being tall ;) . do tell it to him (if he already doesn know!)</p>

<p>As for what age I stopped growing...yeah...I'm still growing a bit (I was right at 5'9 at this time last year) even though I'll be 19 in a month, so can't really answer that question yet.</p>
<p>But what Hepstar said doesn't work out for my family...my mom's 5'9, my dad's 5'11, and my brother's 6'1ish. Oh well, there are always exceptions.</p>

<p>Height means a lot. Females find it desirable. It gets respect from men. These are obvious things. </p>
<p>Much like being better looking is preferable to being worse looking. Of course, it's just looks. It just happens to be very important with how people view you.</p>
