<p>In fourth grade I was 5'. I was taller than everyone.
In sixth grade I was 5'3". I was a little taller than everyone.
Now I'm 5'6"... and it seems I'm staying that way. I'm average...</p>

<p>It depends on the person. I think the medical information is that some women can continue growing taller until they're around nineteen. I think the age that some men stop growing is older than that. One of our teachers told us that he went through high school at 5'6 feet tall, and by the end of his college years he was about 6'3. Some people I know who were tall for their age back in ninth grade, are still the same height today (four years later) and are not expecting to grow anymore.</p>
<p>So it really depends on the person, but some people can keep growing until their early twenties, and some people can stop growing by their early teens. </p>
<p>I heard that the earlier a girl gets her period, the less she will continue to grow as she gets older. And not to be gross, but it seems true. The girls I know who started their period at ten/eleven tend to be shorter than the ones who got their periods when they were twelve/thirteen. It's a weird hormonal/growing up thing.</p>
<p>If you're REALLY interested in how tall you're going to be or when you stop growing, go to a specialist/doctor. They can take an X-ray of your hand and see from the bone structure and formation if you're still going to grow or not.</p>

a lot of guys don't like "cute".
but more importantly, height gives an impression of strength, independence, power....short girls usually don't present that sort of image...</p>
