I'm a 18 yo transfer applicant freshman. On applytexas you cannot write in ECs without checking the grade(s) in which you participated in them. Obviously, I am a college FRESHMAN, that leaves no real way for me to put in high school activities, I can't check "senior" because that would be impossible? Am I right?

I filled that in over 2 months ago but I remember clicking the Freshman box and filling in Freshman ECs from College - not high school freshman ECs.

This might put you in the common category of 'UT doesn't give a flip about high school stats for Transferring students'

My advice is to put all that stuff on your resume. They will look at it there.

Thanks, guess I won't be putting any ECs on there. I'll leave all of that page blank except for some volunteer hours, I do have a part time job but it just makes me feel uneasy leaving an entire bevy of spaces blank.

But honestly, you bring up a good point. Even though you are transferring it doesn't make sense that you can't put in your ECs that took place just over a year ago.

yea i just left it blank i think, im gonna include it all on my resume, just make sure you write it like a real resume and not just like list crap :P try to show what it has taught you and stuff as if u were applying for a real job :)

All right I just finished my resume. You can send it in after the deadline right? I ask this because I have not sent in my app yet(waiting for a friend to read my essays) and on the electronic resume submission you cannot access it unless your application has been sent. It takes up to 48 hrs for UT to process the application.

Also, when they say the deadline is March 1st that INCLUDES March 1st right? You can still send it in on Sunday correct?

The website seems pretty clear on making sure all documents arrive on March 1st or before. If you don't have a choice but to send it late then maybe you should anyway.
