<p>Thank you, folks! In the long run, I hope you will continue to rep me so I can get to a level where my own reps are worth 50 points each – that’s a nice number because it makes it possible to lift a little-known poster’s rec by a half-level at a time. I believe at the moment I am worth 27 (someone correct me if I am wrong).</p>
<p>In the short run, however, I think the greater good would be to lift our green tribe here to equal point status – an Arthurian Round Table as it were. So I respectfully request, for the next week or so, while we pursue that goal together, that you bypass me on your giving rounds. <p>It appears that this little adventure of ours may have a deeper impact on CC than we may have originally thought. In recent days, I’ve gotten a couple of PMs from students asking my advice as a “senior member” of CC. I don’t think anyone used to much pay attention to post counts and longevity but these green squares seem to be attracting attention. That could well be due to the experience the younger set has had on other message boards about how to identity senior advisors to help with problems.</p>

<p>Well no, but that is great, senior member. On the hand, there is a new thread tonight called “Little green squares”. Two posters seem to have just notice them and are totally unaware of this thread and the facebook thread! It seems impossible to me to have missed the whole thing at this point. I guess they have a different CC style from me.</p>
