How to address a resume gap?

I'm a recent college graduate, spent the first year out of college employed full-time, and then found myself out of work on November 7th (the day after the election). I've had unusual circumstances since...moved in with my fianc

This is a tough one. Resume gap certainly looks bad but adding in a bunch of unrelated temp positions could hinder you as well and make your resume look unfocused/cluttered.

I’d definitely list the econ course you took under education with the dates so hopefully they can see that it’s something you’ve recently done. I’d also add one or two max volunteer/community experience to help dampen the resume gap a bit. Try to pick one most relevant to the position that you’re applying for.

Maybe you can explain it away as a sacrifice you made to relocate with your fianc
