How to answer Financial Aid ?

<p>"Will you be a candidate for financial aid" it asks on Common Ap. I'm pretty certain our family income will be over amount qualifying for aid, but we will give it a try. How then should I answer this??</p>

<p>If you need fin. aid, then yes
If you don’t need fin. aid, then no</p>

<p>If you are giving it a try and applying for aid, you say yes - even if you don’t think you’ll get any you need to make yourself eligible for it.</p>
