Get a textbook to learn US History. This website has a us history textbook for FREE: [- Textbook - AP US History Exam Review Course -](http://apexamreview.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=799&Itemid=108)

But how do you practice the writing part of it?

How I’m doing my DBQs/ essays until late Feb.:
- Practice untimed, open note essays in one sitting. Do the ones from the CB site. grade based on what the rubric says.
- in Feb. close the notes, but leave it untimed.
After feb.: - do some timed ones, no notes.
- take prac. tests, with essays/ DBQs timed.

yeah use the old essay prompts.
