How to apply for a loan at UF BEFORE attending classes? HELP

So the only way to pay for my housing must be through a loan. So how could i get the loan if I can't personally go to the financial aid office and fill out any paper work? I need the loan to pay for housing so how could i do this after i'm admitted. I can't wait until the first day of class because the loan will probably take close to a month for it to come in. Unless I could maybe defer that payment for the housing sense my EFC is 0 until my loan comes in? Thanks in advance to everyone.

PLEASE HELP! VERY WORRIED.

call finaid office

You fill out your fafsa and send it to UF immediately. Once you are accepted they will process you a financial aid package which will most likely include federal loans. They will get you your financial aid package prior to the semester starting, you can do all of the paperwork involved with this online, no need to physically go into the office. You will not receive a financial aid package before being accepted obviously… they won’t process your paperwork until you are actually admitted.

Oh and they don’t take a month to come in, unsub and sub loans are disbursed the first week of classes. If the loan is still processing at that time for whatever reason they will defer your fees until the loan is processed.
