<p>I am looking through the Common App and cannot see how to tell NU that I want to apply dual degree to Bienen school of music and to Weinberg LAS. Anyone have any insights on this?</p>
<p>also, and related - am I supposed to do a specific 'why NU ' supplemental essay for each school? the instructions/prompt for the supp essay found on the common app is ... 'what the unique qualities of NU - and of the specific u.g. school to which you are applyiing'?</p>
<p>You wouldn’t do two separate ones, you’d just mention why you were attracted to the dual degree program at NU. As for electing dual degree, I’m not sure, but you should definitely email the admission staff. For some reason I’m thinking you apply to Bienen and you tell them you’re dual degreeing later, but I don’t think I’ve heard that anywhere, it’s just what I would think you’d do.</p>
<p>According to the Bienen website, there is an option on the NU Writing Supplement to select that you are applying dual degree to Bienen. D2 hasn’t completed that yet, so I can’t vouch for accuracy.</p>
