Any tips on that?
I will registering for classes with my academic adviser next month.
I don't want to sound rude or abrasive such as asking them questions like "Is this class gonna be transferable for XX University?"
Plus, I feel mean making them feel that their college is inferior because I am transferring. I really have a very personal dilemma why I am transferring.

Is there any other better way to state my question in a more personal manner?

Should I make up stuff like, "My family is moving to England next year and I will be moving with them, so I'm not sure if I will stay at XX College for the whole four years. Will these YY credits be transferable once I move to another College?"

Oh, I will transfer at the end of my freshman year. I will be likely to attend (if accepted) Columbia, NYU, Georgetown or Stanford.
I also plan on a 5-year degree and I have scholarship for all those 5 years so money is not an issue.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ADVICES!

XX university should have a listing of transferrable credits from your institution. Otherwise call their people about.

screw my academic advisors
i know 100x more than them
be abrasive, don't worry about it; it's their job

lol thanks, but i really don't wanna make an enemy.
don't advisers get around during lunch and talk about how bad students are?

plus, we greatly need them for recommendations, etc.

anyone have any advice?

you can PM if you want.

Thanks again....

Are you going to be a freshman? I don't think it is a good idea to mention any intentions of transferring before the end of 1st semester. You need to give your first college/university a shot first!

If you think you may want to apply for transfer, I'd just pick courses that seem generic. Standard introductory courses are always a safe bet - these courses would most likely fulfill requirements at both your current and possible future school.

Yes, I'm going to be a freshman.
Don't worry, I'm going to love XX College.
But because of gender identity issue, I have to transfer out of there before I get a degree there. I'm not transferring because XX College isn't prestigious (as most kids are doing it).

Since I don't mind a 5 year-degree, I guess I can take whatever classes I want...and not care if it's transferable since I'm starting new at the new college anyways?

Generic classes are boring and I'm not sure about my major yet... so it might be a waste to take it if some of it aren't transferable.

Gender identity issue? How hard is it to look down?
