There is a bunch of stuff on my resume that I wasn't totally able to cover on the app.

How can I attach my resume to the application?

There is a bunch of stuff on my resume that I wasn't totally able to cover on the app.

How can I attach my resume to the application?

unc does not accept resumes, all they want is what you put on your activites/awards sections

UNC does accept resumes, when I emailed them they said that it could only benefit/couldn’t hurt me to send it. I sent a paper copy of mine to the admissions office when I applied EA

i would just send in a paper copy (basically what eva10s said) and then email a few weeks later to make sure they got it.

they do accept resumes, but there’s no way to attach it online. you have to send a paper copy through the mail.

can you put it in the “additional statements” section?

sending a resume is doing too much, actually i heard that it is a major turn off. yes they said you can send in a resume but why would you want to when unc provide more than enough space to show off your talents? its just weird to see how beyond people will go to get into unc. its ridiculous.

@2010here - where did you happen to “hear” that its a “major turn off”? there is no way that sending in a resume could possibly lower your chances of acceptance.

i went to high school honors day and andrew parrish, one of the admissions directors mentioned it. it will not lower your chances, he claimed, but it is a bit unnecessary. honestly i was thinking about sending in a resume until i went to high school honors day back in november.

yeah it might not help it all but still worth a shot! if I hadn’t sent it and gotten rejected I would have really regretted not sending it

Well, I’ve been to a few summer programs and I want UNC to know about them. The only place I could think of putting them is in a resume…
